Jaguar Land Rover Huntington is seeking to hire a Retail Parts Counterperson/Shipping and Receiving Clerk.

As our Parts Counterperson, you will be responsible for assisting mechanics and/or customers in purchasing needed parts and supplies. The Parts Counterperson is also responsible for achieving monthly sales and gross forecasts. This is a union position with full benefits.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Tracking all incoming and outgoing parts for the dealership.
• Locating available parts when the dealership is out of stock.
• Placing orders with the manufacturer
• Handling parts payment collection and making sure all parts are billed correctly through the service department and collision repair shop.
• Packaging and shipping parts back to the manufacturer from time to time, and completing the appropriate record keeping.
• Utilizing parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic format) to identify exactly the right part(s) for the make, model and year of vehicles being serviced.

Job Requirements:

As an Automotive Parts Counterperson, you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. Other requirements:

• At least 2 years of dealership experience.
• Must have computer experience.
• Team oriented while being able to maintain a high level of customer service
• Candidates must pass pre-employment screening including drug test, background and driver's license check
